James Miles has over two decades of experience in the financial industry. Before bringing his financial expertise to private equity, serving as a fund raiser, investor, and principal, James provided investment advice to investment managers while at SG Cowen and Simmons & Company International. James’ clients included some of the world’s largest hedge funds and long-only institutional investors and he worked on deals in the Consumer, Technology, Healthcare, and Energy industries. His deal experience in the public markets extends to IPO’s, Follow-On Offerings, and Secondaries.

James also has extensive experience sourcing and investing in private equity deals across industries including Commercial Real Estate, Consumer, Industrial, and Technology.

James holds a BA in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. Beyond his professional endeavors, James actively participates in community initiatives including serving as a board member of the local PTO and as a dedicated board member and team manager in the country’s largest little league.
