Stoneworth Financial worked with AmeriTech Environmental to show the company in its best light. We prepared an investor package with general industry information, company history, competitive analysis, historical financials and projections. This confidential memorandum was distilled down to a few non confidential paragraphs that could be shared with prospective investors.
With the investment package in hand, we conducted a phased investor search, starting with ideal investors but including other options. While the investor package was drafted and the search planned and executed, new information about the company arose almost daily and was factored into the overall effort. The search became an iterative process. In the end, as the company’s financial situation was clarified, its profitability fell into question. Even so, we were able to deliver several bona fide offers to invest in or buy the business on various bases.
